A unique day of Irish sport in London will take place on Saturday 4th May, with the first ever game for the Kerry Munster Stags who will take on the prestigious London Irish Nomads at the London Irish Rugby Club, Hazelwood Drive, Sunbury on Thames, TW16 6QU.
The Stags are an amalgamation of teams from Abbeyfeale, Listowel, Castleisland, Tralee, Dingle, Killarney & Killorglin. Such a battle between Kerry and London has never been seen before and this weekend will be the first time to see it.
As a warm up for the rugby, St Kiernans GAA will take on Fulham Irish at 1pm. The football match will be a closely fought contest and a unique buildup to the rugby. It will be the first time London Irish RFC will play host to a GAA match and will contribute to an amazing celebration of Irish sport.
If that wasn’t enough, the day will also see London Irish host a family fun day with bouncy castles and a funfair. There will also be a BBQ, hog roast and a full bar. After the rugby, there will also music & a late bar.
